Hallo Zusammen,
P0101 - Air flow meter
ERROR DETAILS:
Fault status: Signal not valid
Odometer: 140836 km
Engine speed: 2746 rpm
Engine temperature: 77,9 °C
Fuel quantity: 6,75 mg/i
Fuel pressure: 1092,2 bar
The Air Flow Sensor signal is missing or outside the normal range.
Possible causes:
1) the sensor signal or power supply line is open or shorted.
2) the sensor itself is faulty.
Check the signal and power supply circuits between the sensor and ECU for opens, shorts and weak connections, and the signal reaction to air flow changes.
Please Note: The intake tract downstream of the Air Flow sensor may have no vacuum leaks. Stray Air does not get measured by the sensor. This is usually indicated by persistently too high idle RPM.
Check all the air hoses for cracks and loose connections, and the manifold gaskets and brake vacuum servo for air leaks.
The reason for this fault is that ECU has received invalid signal from the sensor. The fault is not detected now, but it is stored in memory. Clear fault codes, and observe for future appearance of the same fault. Dashboard warning light was activated for this fault.
Was sollte man tun.
Florian
